　　The MFCD 118I, an 18.1 inch landscape flat panel display, has been especially designed for operation in strong magnetic fields. The completely shielded display finds its use in both functional and interventional MRI applications. The display complies with the DICOM/CIE viewing standards and displays resolutions up to 1280 x 1024. The MFCD 118I is a project related product offering.

　　Designed for Operation Close to MRI Magnet

　　In the design of the MFCD 118I, magnetic components have been avoided. The completely shielded display excludes disturbing radiation and unwanted artifcacts. It has immunity up to 1.5 Tesla, which allows for operation close to the MRI magnet. Barco’s MRI display also features a fiber optic video connection for radiation-free transfer of RGB signals between workstation and display.
