Barco's blanking kit for BARCODATA 5000 and 8000 light valve projectors is a special internal sub-module which makes it possible to display only a certain window of the actual picture.
The size and position of the displayed window can be easily set via the infrared remote control of the projector, and is automatically stored in the memory of the projector.
This option is particularly useful for applications where part of the picture must be removed, e.g. the caption of a TV picture. The blanking circuitry is standard built-in in the BARCODATA 5100 and BARCODATA 8100 projectors.
