The 3D Digital Video Package is a fully integrated turnkey solution which will allow the user to display his preferred 3D application using passive stereo technology. It is ideally suited for 3D projection in high ambient light using a simple and low cost pair of glasses with polarization filters. It is a very compact solution and easy to setup using advanced "in projector" polarization technology. The large and bright image will be appreciated by engineering and development teams from various industries to setup collaborative environments using stereovision technology. This is a perfect solution for 3D computerized data and stereo video presentations for educational or promotional purposes.
功能 3D Projection
The solution includes a powerful 3D projection system for today's most demanding "broadcast" environment. The solution relies on the dual stack 3D Digital Video Package which is equipped with extremely high resolution lenses. The Barco projectors are internally optimized for 3D projection. That way, most of the original light output is kept intact and there is no need for external polarization filters.
Playback Device
The solution includes a digital video Player/Recorder that is a high-end, cost effective device to broadcast quality digital video. It is based on the new OMEGA Dual Deck system: a two-video-channel system in one chassis, specifically tailored for stereo broadcast, with its own audio.
Audio
The solution includes a complete Dolby-surround configuration which will bring the highest level of realism, and which will make your public remember the ecperience they have seen.
Screen
The passive 3D stereo display technology requires the use of a "non-depolarizing" screen. Barco is continuously evaluating different screen technologies in front and rear projection, in order to provide you with the screen that is best suited for your specific needs.
Solution Description
The 3D Digital Video Package is based on the principle of light polarization. The audience wears a pair of glasses of 2 opposite light polarization filters (one for the left eye and one for the right eye). The light of each projected image is pre-polarized and can only pass through the corresponding filter. Because this technique is based on the polarization of light, a non-depolarizing screen is required. Due to the 3D optimization of the projectors, this system offers high light output in dual projector configurations and is ideally suited for medium size to large size audiences. This configuration can also be used for generic non-3D presentations with images coming from a PC or a standard VHS player.
