  描述

  SMX 系统多重矩阵系列的多层矩阵切换器将多个独立的模拟和数字矩阵切换器整合于一个真正模块化、可现场配置的机箱内。它支持多达10 个独立的矩阵切换器,全部都处于一个控制点之下。SMX 结合了Extron 广受欢迎的CrossPoint、MAV Plus、HDXP Plus 和MVX 系列矩阵切换器的可靠性和高性能,还具有模块化矩阵切换器设计的高效率。SMX 系统是医学成像系统、会议和培训设施以及其它中型应用的理想选择。这些应用通常需要切换不同的信号类型、占用空间小,同时还能针对不断出现的输入/输出或信号格式的变化提供经济有效的升级路径。

  SMX 系统多重矩阵的核心是一个可现场重新配置的机箱,非常适合于在最短的时间内,花费最少的人力成本来安装新的或替换已有的矩阵切换器板。独特的支持热插拔的卡笼设计能将每块矩阵板快速地对齐在其自身的水平面上。安装矩阵板时无需拆卸切换器,也无需更新固件,甚至不必从机架上拆除先前已安装的SMX 切换器。

  SMX 有4 种机箱尺寸:2U、3U、4U 和5U,分别提供有4 个、6 个、8 个和10 个矩阵插槽。只需简单地选择最适合于具体应用的机箱和数字、模拟、宽带以及立体声音频矩阵板并加以组合,然后按任意顺序安装。当视音频信号路由随时间而需要改变时,只需增加或替换新的矩阵板来使SMX 满足新的系统要求。

  在执行关键任务的应用方面,SMX 机箱可选择附带冗余电源。冗余电源配置为一旦主电源突然发生故障,系统可自动切换至备用的热电源,确保机器的正常运行。SMX 的电源供应、内部运行温度和其它的主要功能都可以通过Extron IP Link® – 一款集成的高性能网络服务器对其进行持续的监控,此网络服务器可以通过任意授权的网络客户端,以电子邮件的形式把关键信息发送给技术支持人员。

  在会议中心应用中(例如以下描述的一种情况),视音频信号路由可能会需要五个或更多个单独的矩阵切换器— 每个都带有自身的控制面板和电源。除了庞大而复杂的视音频设备机架之外,此类系统设计还需要非常复杂的控制系统,每个矩阵切换器都需要配备一个单独的控制端口。有了SMX 系统多重矩阵,这些相同的多种信号路由任务就

  能够被整合,只用一个控制点即可控制整个视音频信号路由系统。
